Dr. Hamilton is an expert, and he knows what he is doing. I had orthognathic surgery in Jan 2024, a complicated surgery with many risks. For some reason my body didn’t heal properly after the procedure, and I had a tear or hole in the floor of my nasal septum. The hole was discovered during a routine checkup from the jaw surgeon who performed the surgery in Jan. I was referred to Dr. Hamilton by my jaw surgeon. My jaw surgeon is an expert and routinely performs the most complicated orthognathic surgeries in the world with the smallest percentage of complications. After a thorough discussion with Dr. Hamilton, my surgeon was convinced that he was the only person capable of performing this procedure. From my understanding, Dr. Hamilton is an expert in the obscure field of nasal septum repairs. Nasal septum repair is an obscure and challenging procedure to perform with success. My specific case was particularly complicated because I had a septal perforation as a result of maxillary advancement. I spoke to many facial plastic surgeons in the Southern California area to see what my options were. Dr. Hamilton is the only surgeon in the area, from my research, performing this procedure endoscopically. Additionally, Dr. Hamilton is the only surgeon who offered a 99% success rate. To be clear, success in this situation is defined as full and complete closure / repair of the septal perforation. For context, the next best facial plastic surgeon that I spoke to offered me a 30% success rate. That surgeon told me that they even went to the same residency as Dr. Hamilton. This isn’t the kind of procedure that you learn in residency though. It is a very sophisticated obscure surgery. Some surgeons will try to have a crack at it, but it is rare to have as strong of a success rate as Dr. Hamilton. He knows what he is doing. The surgery itself was easy for me. I was asleep the whole time. When I woke up I was told that everything went well, and the surgery was 100% successful. 100% successful means that the hole was completely closed. The surgical team was incredibly professional and supportive. There was no pain related to my surgery at all. I tried to go through my HMO to get the surgery, but their surgeons were not capable of performing the surgery even close to the same accuracy. The reason is because Dr. Hamilton is the only surgeon in the area who performs endoscopic repair (he might be the only surgeon in the country, but I didn’t really look out of state. I was told that people travel from all over the country to see him though). He is so specialized in this process that this is ALL he does. When I was a little kid for a long time the only game I had was Super Mario Kart. That was all I played. I was REALLY good at it. When patterns of behavior are practiced with extreme consistency, skill is honed and developed. Did I say that this was all Dr. Hamilton does? Not every surgeon who performs surgery is an expert, but Dr. Hamilton is an expert. Even though I’m really good at Mario Kart, I can’t say that I’m an expert. eventually I got more games. With septal perforations I have learned that it is important to get them repaired as soon as possible. The reason is because if you wait, they could get bigger. If they get bigger, they are harder to repair. I will also add that if there is an attempt to repair the first time and it is not successful, a complicated challenging surgery to perform is even MORE challenging to repair. This can lead to impaired breathing, nasal collapse, saddling, and other annoying things that I’m so grateful I don’t have to think about because I went with Dr. Hamilton. I got my splint removed today, and I am a month out of surgery. I can breathe a sigh of relief (pun intended) knowing that my nose is repaired, this is behind me, and I made the absolute best decision possible by going to Dr. Hamilton. Thank you Dr. Hamilton and your team. Now this experience can be a memory.

There was/ is no one in the world who could have my nose like how Dr. Hamilton did. Not only is it natural and it was painless but it enhanced my beauty immensely. I had two septal perforations that resulted from a previous septoplasty. The surgeon who did my septoplasty, as well as other surgeons I saw, told me that the perforations could not be repaired, or that the repair would be a long, painful process and an invasive surgery. Dr. Hamilton was able to close both perforations endoscopically. He spent four hours carefully repairing my nose. Recovery was pretty painless too. It's been a month since my surgery and I feel great! Besides some minor post-op care, I can return to my day-to-day life as usual. Both him and his staff are very professional, and were able to significantly ease my anxiety going into surgery. It's clear that he really cares about his patients and their wellbeing.

After extensive research, I traveled from out of state for a rhinoplasty with Dr. Hamilton.. let me tell you it was the best decision I could have made. I have been to several ENT specialist in Asia, middle east and European and all agreed that my septal perforation and the consequences on my breathing had no remedy. I suffered from fatigue, headaches and dry mouth. all that impacted my day to day activities. I have done the surgery with dr Hamilton early august and the closure was successful. I am finally breathing normally. I cam a long way from Dubai but was worth it. The staff, anesthesia , facilities are all excellent. They recommend as well a care taker, Valerie who made my recovery like a breeze.

Dr. Hamilton is a phenomenal surgeon! He is super careful but makes you feel completely at ease. And the results were amazing, (and my problem was pretty severe!). He also has been great with follow up. He even met me in the office late in the evening when I had a problem (vs sending me to the ER!). I cannot say enough about him, his colleagues, and every single person in that office. They are very helpful, respond very quickly, and put up with my pre and post-op anxiety. I wouldn't think twice about getting your surgery at this clinic and with Dr. Hamilton!

I had a 2 centimeter septal perforation, and Dr. Hamilton performed a sliding technique with mucosal tissue to close each side of the perforation. Almost 5 months post op my breathing is better than ever before. He did it endoscopically without an incision. He didn't even have to shave my mustache. The dude is legit. I wish I could give a million stars. Eight years ago Dr. Hamilton was the first person to properly address a miserable fifteen-year-old sinus issue I had. It took several months to fully heal from the septoplasty and turbinate reduction he performed, and I've never had a recurrent issue since. He really changed my life, and I wish there was some way to repay him. He's an incredibly talented and amazing human being. So much gratitude for crossing his path.

Dr. Hamilton is one of the greatest doctors I have ever had. He's incredibly knowledgeable and is highly skilled at his work. He's gentle in everything he does, and takes the time to make sure his patients understand anything and everything to do with their condition. He answers any questions you might have with patience and clarity. I traveled to LA from out of state to have my perforated septum repaired recently, and there's no one else I would trust to do this complicated procedure. I was lucky and honored to have him as my surgeon. I have a history of anxiety and panic attacks and was very nervous and scared to have surgery, but everyone has been tremendous at helping me. His team and everyone at the institute is wonderful, and they have gone above and beyond to help me through recovery.

In my opinion Dr Hamilton is a VERY talented Dr, as well as a having a caring and engaged bed-side-manor. I HIGHLY recommend him! My story: 8 years ago I had a tumor in my parotid gland which was removed and my face reconstructed by another doctor - which didn't go well. About 6 months later, unhappy, I searched for a new, (and better) doctor. I then (thankfully) found Dr. Hamilton and consulted with him. He advised me to wait a few years before redoing the reconstruction. I waited 8 years and decided it was time and revisited Dr. Hamilton. He was able to do a fantastic job with the reconstruction, better than I even anticipated was possible. In addition I decided to do a face lift along with the reconstruction and it all came out so well! I supper happy with the results and it's been a pleasure working with Dr. Hamilton and all the people at his office.

Dr. Hamilton was truly an answer to prayer. I was suffering with a perforated septum for several years and was very anxious about it and the repair of it even more so. I went to two surgeons for consults prior to finding Dr. Hamilton. They did not make me feel confident at all that the surgery would be a success, or that the could confidently solve my issue, so I did not move forward. After searching on the internet I found Dr. Hamilton and booked an appointment. Immediately he made me feel at ease. He did not make me feel like this was a unique case nor something that would be almost impossible to fix. On the contrary, he made me feel in good hands and excited about the living on the other side of this problem. Where as the other surgeons had done several or a handful of surgeries like mine, Dr. Hamilton had done hundreds. The office staff made it easy to schedule the surgery and prepare for it. I felt in safe hands. The day of the surgery could not have gone better. Not only did he fix my deviated septum, but he was able to repair the perforation without a graft which was like a miracle. The entire team was excited and it made me feel pretty special. The recovery has gone well and the post op care has been routine. I am 6 months post op. and could not be more happy. Don't believe the few negative reviews, those people will never be happy with anything. If you find yourself with a deviated septum or a perforated one, see Dr. Hamilton. He is the best one out there for this surgery.

I’m happy to give Dr. Hamilton and his team a great review. I debated getting a rhinoplasty for many years and although I had consults with two other highly regarded surgeons in L.A., I didn’t feel confident about going through with the surgery until I spoke to Dr. Hamilton. He was professional, communicative, down to earth and very passionate about his work. Unlike some surgeons, who have a particular style they give all their patients, Hamilton is highly skilled and was able to reshape my nose beautifully without losing my individuality. Even though I see a big difference in my look, my friends couldn’t tell what I had done because his work was so natural!
